What is the Scope of this Certification?

The processing and approval of a policy -- from the time a marketing officer handovers the cheque and necessary documents to the operations team -- until the same is printed & dispatched to the internal customer.
| Lifecycle policy maintenance |
Preserving the file and related documents as per the statutory regulations and IRDA guidelines.
| Banking and accounting activities |
| Activities such as acceptance, deposit and clearing of the cheque for the policy premium amount. |
| Banking, Premium & Commission reconciliation. |
| Payments relating to commissions, excess refunds, endorsement refunds and claims. |
| Claims (High frequency, low severity) |
All the individual claims, which are voluminous in numbers and are for products such as Motor, Health, Travel, Home etc. This excludes claims for corporate products such as Fire, Plant & Machinery etc.

Processing of the Commission payout at a specified percentage as per the IRDA guidelines to Business Sourcing Agents.
| Customer complaints and query resolution |
This is done through an Inbound Call Center team, which receives the consolidated list of customer queries/complaints and route the same to the concerned person for resolution within the defined Turn Around Time (TAT).
