This mid-summer event showcases powerboat-racing on the Detroit river. Both antique and racing boats participate in this event. Qualifying events are held throughout Friday and Saturday morning, whereas the races follow in the afternoon and the next day. | Woodward Dream Cruise

Over 150,000 professional and amateur car lovers have a great time at this annual event. There are 30,000 customized, collectors', muscle and street cars participating in this 16 mile Dream Cruise heading from Ferndale to Pontiac. Along the course, the Royal Oak, Huntington Woods, Pleasant Ridge, Birmingham and Berkley communities entertain with street parties, live music and food. |
