 | Union Station Pershing and Main Sts, Kansas City, MO 64108 Previously a rail terminal, this 1914 building underwent renovation in 1997 and was converted into a $188 million entertainment center. The original architecture has been restored to perfection and is definitely worth a visit. The other on-site attractions are children's science center, movie screens, theater, KC's railroad history, shops, restaurants etc. |
 | Worlds of Fun 4545 Worlds of Fun Ave, Kansas City, MO 64161 Inspired by the novel 'Around the World in 80 Days," the Worlds of Fun takes visitors to Asia, Africa, Europe and America through various family and thrill rides. The latest entrant has been the Patriot Roller Coaster ride. Also visit the Camp Snoopy for the toddlers. Adjacent to the Worlds of Fun is Oceans of Fun with water rides and thrills. |

 | Harry S Truman Home 223 N Main St, Truman National Historic Site, Independence, MO 64050 This historic estate gives an insight into the life and career of 33rd U.S. President. The estate is replete with family heirlooms and antiques. During Truman's presidency, it was called the "Summer White House." Timed-tickets are available and given to only eight people. Arrive early as they are on first-come-first-served basis. |
