 | Rideau Canal and Locks Wellington St, Ottawa, ON Designated as a World Heritage Site, the Rideau Canal and Locks has been in operation since the 19th century. It is through 24 locks and canals that the Rideau Canal runs via the city towards Kingston. This canal becomes the largest naturally frozen skating rink in the world during the winter months. |
