 | African Lion Safari RR #1, Cambridge, ON N1R 5S2 This wild-life park was first opened in 1969 with 40 lions. Today there are more than thousand animals that roam freely in their habitats and visitors drive through in a safari-style. Other means of entertainment here include a Jungle Playground, a Misumu Bay Wet Play area, train tour, animal performances and a lake cruise. For refreshments there are a couple of restaurants, snack carts and gift shops within the park. |
 | CN Tower 301 Front St W, Toronto, ON M5V 2T6 At 1815 feet, this Toronto's landmark is the tallest tower in the world. This tower was built as a TV transmission antenna and is a major tourist attraction now. It serves 16 Canadian TV and FM channels and is office to nearly 550 people. It also houses entertainment such as night club, laser tag game, digital animation program (a virtual bungee jump thrill), 300 seater cafe, award winning restaurant 360, shops and Simulator Theatre. |
 | Casa Loma 1 Austin Ter, Toronto- M5R 1X8 Nicknamed as "a rich man's folly," this grand castle was built in 1917 . Sir Henry Pellat (a military officer and financier) built it for his wife at a whopping cost of $3.5 million. In less than 10 years, this lovely structure was valued at merely $ 27,305! Comprising Elizabethan chimneys, Rhenish turrets, secret passageways, tunnels and 17th century architecture, this is a must visit place in Toronto. Other interesting features include a 10,000 volume library, a marble swimming pool and 15 baths. The horses here lived in luxury too- above their stalls, each had their names engraved in gold! |
 | Royal Ontario Museum 100 Queen's Park, Toronto, ON M5S 2C6 There are over 6 million treasures of archeology, natural science and art in Canada's largest museum and research facility. Popularly referred to as ROM, the exhibits here include from dinosaurs and bats to Chinese antiques, arts and a Ming Room. The museum has a fine Venetian glass ceiling that highlights varied cultures. |
 | Fort York 100 Garrision Rd, Toronto- M5B 1N2 This seven-acre historical site has Canada's largest collection of authentic buildings that date to the War of 1812. The fort has been restored and has the status of National Historic Site. Several of the buildings are intact even now. Demonstrations and guided tour are available in July and August. |
 | St. James Cathedral 65 Church St, Toronto, ON M5C 2E9 This cathedral was originally built in 1807 and replaced by a larger structure in 1832. Subsequent buildings were destroyed by fires, which made the congregation build the current structure in mid-19th century English-Gothic Revival style. This cathedral opened in 1853 and has lovely stained glass windows. |
