Baggage Guidelines

 | One item of hand baggage is allowed; dimensions: 56 cms long [approximately 22 inches], 45 cms high [approximately 17.5 inches], 25 cms deep [approximately 9.85 inches] including wheels, handles, side pocket. Plus one laptop or briefcase is also allowed in most airlines. |
 | Musical instruments which do not fit in the permitted cabin baggage size are allowed as a second item of cabin baggage. They will need to be screened and passengers should check with their airlines if special arrangements (e.g. purchasing an extra seat) for these large instruments will be required. |
 | Liquids may only be carried within separate containers each of which with a capacity not greater than 100ml. |
 | These containers must be brought to the airport contained in a single, transparent, re-sealable plastic bag, which itself must not exceed 1 litre in capacity (approximately 20cms x 20cms). The contents of the plastic bag must fit comfortably and the bag must be sealed. |
 | Each passenger may carry only one such bag of liquids. The bag must be presented for examination. |
 | The usual check in baggage allowance is one baggage of maximum dimensions (H+W+L): 158cm (62in) and maximum weight not exceeding 32kg. |
 | Essential medication in liquid form (prescription or over the counter) may be carried in the cabin bag. |
 | Medicines in non-liquid form may be carried in the cabin bag as normal, provided they fit into a bag no bigger than 56 cm x 45cm x 25cm. |
 | Babies and children are allowed one bag each, which must comply with UK Department for Transport dimensions (56cm x 45cm x 25cm). |
 | All customers may purchase any non-liquid item before or after security. Liquid items must be purchased once customers have cleared security. |
