Delphi
A UNESCO World Heritage Site and the seat of Oracle was chosen by ancient Greeks as the navel of Earth and they built the Sanctuary of Apollo here. Even if the ancient Greeks hadn't chosen it, its spectacular cliff side location would have made a marvellous city of modern times.
Despite apparent commercialism and large number of tourist buses running through the modern village, the place has a magical feel that cannot be expressed in words.

A land of legends, a land where myths come true and mortals becomes immortals. The legend of Hercules, the tale of Troy and the expedition of Argonauts were all set in Peloponnese.
Not far away from Peloponnese is the modern village of Olympia, the place where Zeus allegedly held the first Olympic Games to celebrate defeating his father Cronos in wrestling. A birthplace of modern Olympics and the place where the Olympic torch is set ablaze every four years.
