We are happy to inform you that Bharti AXA General Insurance demerged its general insurance business with ICICI Lombard (“transaction”) on 8 September 2021, after receiving requisite approvals from the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) and the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI).


We aim to provide policyholders with value-driven products and services along with dedicated and robust customer support services. The transaction will also help in improving and strengthening our distribution network through Bharti AXA General Insurance's existing distribution alliances.

What if I am an erstwhile Bharti AXA health insurance customer?

The erstwhile Bharti AXA health insurance customers can continue to enjoy the terms and conditions of their policy until it expires. You can access all of the services that were offered under your existing policy by visiting the ICICI Lombard website. The transaction does not alter the terms and process of claim settlement, continuity benefits, and more. Furthermore, the policy document will stay valid and will not need to be revised.
