Ever since the first Dhoom movie was released, John Abraham has become synonymous with motorbikes. It is only fitting that he possesses one of the most enviable collection of bikes in India.
His amazing collection includes a custom-made bike called the Light Foot, by Rajputanas Limelight. It is inspired by the design of the 1910 American Board Track Racer. He also owns a Suzuki Hayabusa GSX-1300R, which is one of the fastest bikes in the world.
Being the brand ambassador of Yamaha, he also owns a Yamaha VMax and a custom-made Yamaha YZF-R1.
2. Mahendra Singh Dhoni
India’s most successful cricket captain, Dhoni is well known for his passion for bikes off the field. He owns a Confederate X132 Hellcat along with the Kawasaki Ninja, the fastest bike in India.
Any biker’s collection is incomplete without a Harley Davidson and Dhoni owns the Fat Boy, the bike used by Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator 2.
3. Arjun Khanna
A surprise addition to this list, Arjun Khanna is known for his avant-garde philosophies on design and style. The influential designer boasts of a collection of over 20 handpicked and carefully restored vintage machines which reflect his unique and timeless design sensibilities.
His collection includes a 500cc 1950 Norton, a 1937 Ariel Red Hunter, a rare 1941 Royal Enfield 'Flying Flea' used in World War II, and a 1955 BMW R67/2.
4. Tom Cruise
The Hollywood heart-throb, when not setting hearts aflutter, can be seen zooming around in his enviable collection of motorbikes. He recently acquired a hand-made Vyrus 985 C3.4V.
Also in his collection, is a limited edition Confederate Hellcat, a Ducati Desmosedici RR (rumoured to be the first owner in the US), a Ducati 999R, a Honda Rune, and a BMW S1000 RR, among others.
5. Jay Leno
The former Tonight Show host boasts of one of the most coveted collection of automobiles in the world, even putting museums to shame. The collection is not only about mindboggling numbers, but also is an exhibition of true passion.
Spread around his enormous garage, there is a Brough Superior SS100, a 1988 Ducati 750 Paso Limited, a Ninja ZX-14, a 1975 Suzuki RE 5 Rotary, the infamous Y2K jet-powered bike, a 1934 Norton ES2, Triumph Bonneville, a 1923 Megola Sport Racer amongst many other priceless motor bikes.
