Hero Moto-Corp has an interesting line up with 620cc Hero Hastur, 249cc Hero HX250R, 157cc ZIR scooter and the 124cc hybrid Hero Leap. However, the one that stands out not only in this list but across national and international brands is the Hero Splendor iSmart that offered a record 102.5 kmpl mileage while testing.

Hero's product launches this year are in direct competition with Kawasaki, Honda and Bajaj. Hatur and HX250R are targeted towards sports bike enthusiasts whereas ZIR will take on the likes of Activa. The Splendor iSmart can be a potential game changer in the mileage-oriented rural market.
