HSRP Number Plates Rules
HSRPs feature a blue 20mm x 20mm chromium-based Ashoka Chakra hologram at the top left.
A unique 10-digit Permanent Identification Number is laser-engraved on the lower-left corner.
It includes state and district codes and a unique alpha-numeric vehicle identification number.
HSRPs are required for all vehicles by July 2022, per MoRTH guidelines.
Prices differ by state – around INR 400 for two-wheelers and INR 1,100 for four-wheelers, with additional charges for stickers of different colours,
Enhances security and traceability.
Non-compliance can result in fines between INR 5,000 and INR 10,000.
