Critical illness Cover

This benefit pays out 100% of the sum insured. The following critical illnesses are covered under this add-on -

  • • Stroke resulting in permanent symptoms

Waiting period - 90 days from the policy start date.

Sum Insured Protector

You can protect your sum insured against rising inflation. Your sum insured will be increased on cumulative basis at every renewal, based on the previous year's inflation rate. Inflation rate is based on the Consumer Price index (CPI) published by the Central Statistical Organisation (CSO). The % increase will be applicable only on Annual Sum Insured under the Policy and not on additional sum insured or any other benefit which leads to increase in Sum Insured.

Super No Claim Bonus

This benefit applies if you renew the policy on time without any break-in period.

Maximum limit:
  • • For SI between 5 to 10 lakhs: 100% of SI
  • • For SI between 15 to 50 lakhs: 200% of SI

This will be over and above the additional sum insured that you'll get while renewing the policy, only if you've made no claims in the past year. If you make a claim in the policy year, the super no claim bonus will reduce by 50%.

Donor Expenses

We take care of the medical expenses incurred in respect of the organ donor up to ₹10 lakhs (as per plans opted) provided you are the recipient and we have accepted your hospitalisation claim for the organ donation surgery.

Reset Benefit

This applies in case your sum insured (including additional sum insured) is insufficient due to previous claims. In such a scenario, we will reset your sum insured. Reset benefit will not be triggered for your first claim and for the same illness.

Domestic road emergency ambulance

"If you need to be transported in an ambulance to the nearest hospital during an emergency, you can claim reimbursement up to ₹1,500 per hospitalisation.

Treatment at home

If you want to avoid the hospital during the COVID-19 crisis and undergo any active treatment at home, we will facilitate home healthcare treatment for you on cashless basis

Air Ambulance Cover

In case of a life-threatening emergency, we cover your air ambulance costs. This benefit is applicable only in cases where road ambulance services cannot be provided. Maximum liability under this benefit is restricted up to your sum insured stated on the policy schedule.

Additional sum insured protector

We won't reduce/remove your additional sum insured(ASI) at renewal. This benefit applies if any one claim or multiple claims in the previous policy year did not exceed an overall amount of ₹50,000.

Hospital Daily Cash + Convalescence Benefit

We pay you a daily cash allowance if you are hospitalised for 3+ days, up to a maximum of 10 days. Additionally, In case your hospital stay continues for 10 days or more, we will pay you ₹10,000 as convalescence benefit.

Maternity benefit +OPD

Maternity cover: We reimburse medical expenses that you/your spouse incurs for delivery, up to the defined limit. Nursing at home + Compassionate visit

We cover your expenses for availing nursing at home post hospitalisation. The limit under this benefit is ₹3,000 per day for up to a maximum of 15 days. If your hospitalisation extends beyond 5 days, we will cover expenses incurred for an economy class air ticket for your spouse/children/parent to visit you (up to ₹20000).

Claim protector

We cover the items related to your claim, which are not payable as per IRDAI's excluded list. These include hot packs, gauze, crepe bandages etc. Such non-payables will be covered up to sum insured if we have accepted your inpatient hospitalisation claim.

Sum insured protector

We increase your sum insured every year, based on the previous year's inflation rate. Please refer policy wording for further details.

Worldwide cover

You can claim for inpatient hospitalisation and day care procedures under this benefit. A co-pay of 10% will be applied to every admissible claim incurred outside India. The benefit is available for 45 consecutive days from the date of travel in a single trip and 90 days in a cumulative bases as a whole in a policy year.

Super no claim bonus

This benefit applies if you renew the policy on time without any break-in period. Maximum limit: For SI between 5 to 10 lakhs: 100% of SI For SI between 15 to 50 lakhs: 200% of SI This will be over and above the additional sum insured that you'll get while renewing the policy, only if you've made no claims in the past year. If you make a claim in the policy year, the super no claim bonus will reduce by 50%.

Insurance Regulatory Authority guidelines on Anti-Money Laundering / Counter Financing of Terrorism

  • Effective from January 1, 2023, the KYC process will become mandatory to purchase all insurance policies from the Company in accordance to the Master Guidelines on Anti-Money Laundering/Counter Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT), 2022 dated August 1, 2022.
  • KYC verification is to be completed at the time of policy purchase.
  • You can complete KYC to purchase your policy through the following modes:
    • Pre-verified cKYC number
    • Aadhaar-based KYC through online authentication
    • cKYC verification based on PAN Card, Aadhaar, Driver's License, Elector's photo identity card and Passport File Number
  • The company may seek additional information such as the nature of the business, source of income, beneficial owner, etc., as required under Master Guidelines on Anti-Money Laundering/Counter Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT), 2022.
  • Declaration to be provided for Politically Exposed Persons (PEP).
