Who is an Insurance Agent?

An agent is a person who represents an insurance firm and sells insurance policies on their behalf. As an insurance agent you can sell general insurance products which encompasses motor, health, travel and corporate insurance. An agent can help the customer to make the right choice and choose an insurance product towards an unforeseen risk

Who is a Point of Sale (POS)?

A POSP (Point of Salesperson) is the name given to an insurance agent who can sell specific insurance products.
For becoming a POSP, you only need to have the minimum educational qualifications as given by the IRDAI and undergo training provided by us.

Who can become an agent?

check If you have completed 18 years of age and above
check You have a strong entrepreneurial mindset and a wide social network
check You have skills and a mindset to sell insurance policies
check You have a minimum qualification of Class 12
check If you are confident, persuasive and have strong interpersonal skills
