Mobile phones have become a necessary gadget and an expensive investment, hence having your mobile phone insured is very important. Since smart phones are electronic devices, they are prone to software failures which can often render the device useless. Mobile insurance offers protection against a number of perils and damages to the phone. With a mobile insurance cover, the insurance company pays for all the expenses relating to its repair as well as replacement.

Policy Covers

	Accidental Damage/Liquid Damage– Covers the device from accidental physical damage and/or such damage that does not allow the normal usage of the device or fails to work because fluid has accidentally entered its internal circuitry, touch panel, sub-board or battery, resulting in the stoppage of the device
	Screen Damage– Covers accidental physical screen damage like broken, cracked or shattered screen or physical screen damage due to fire, lightening and explosion.
	Technical Damage – Any mechanical or electrical damage caused to the device will be covered.

Policy Excludes

	Theft or burglary of smart phone
	Indirect loss of any kind, including loss of private data due to theft of the mobile phone.
	Cost of replacement of battery unless caused by an accidental or liquid damage to the insured equipment.
	Loss or damage to accessories of any nature, if included in the purchase price of mobile.
	Any loss arising while transferring the ownership of the insured equipment.
