This award will recognize the initiatives of small and medium enterprises who have proactively identified risks and implemented mitigation steps. The SME must have a turnover between Rs 50 crores to Rs 125 crores during the financial year April 2013 to March 2014 to be eligible for participation.

This award will recognize a Public Sector Units (PSUs) that has developed a comprehensive risk management strategy to mitigate macro level risks. This could include enterprise risk management initiatives taken at a company level.

This award will recognize the private firm's initiatives to build a comprehensive risk management framework to mitigate macro level companywide risks. This could include enterprise risk management initiatives taken at a company level. (SMEs, PSUs and BFSIs are not eligible to apply in this category and have to apply under specific categories defined)

This award will recognize an Indian Multinational Corporation (having presence in at least three countries other than India and is listed in India/ held in majority by Indian Promoter and is managing risk across boundaries) which has effectively implemented risk management strategies across these locations. Companies need to demonstrate that they have seamlessly integrated risk-management strategies in India and abroad.

This award will recognize companies that have implemented risk management strategies to manage risks in their supply chain. These strategies will be based on continuous risk assessment with the objective of reducing vulnerability and ensuring continuity.

This award will recognize technology providers whose products have been developed and successfully implemented in the Indian market. These include hardware/software solutions, IT hardware solutions providers, Industrial control systems providers, robotics and automation providers, security & fire protection systems providers etc.

This award will recognize companies that have implemented risk management tools to minimize the impact due to their day to day operations on the environment. These may include initiatives undertaken to reduce power usage, carbon emissions, effluent management, use of sustainable energy, recycling practices etc.

This award will recognize organizations that have developed risk management tools/strategies to enhance employee welfare. These include unique initiatives taken to protect employees from operational risks which go beyond requirements of law.

This recognises the very best within the conglomerate community which has a large number of firms within its fold. The jury will be looking for evidence of benchmark risk management which exceed expectations.

This award recognises both recent achievement and future potential in risk management firms who have newly set up shop in the last 5 years, and have already focussed on risk management. The judges will be looking at the controls and implementation of the nominees in this category and how the risk strategy has effectively contributing to overall performance of the organisation and the likelihood that this firm shall set benchmarks in the future.

This award shall be a sector based award for a firm within its own sector or category. The sectors where independent awards shall be given in each sector are Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare ,Automotive and Automobiles ,Information Systems and technologies ,Agriculture ,FMCG ,Power ,Services (does not include consulting firms),Ecommerce ,Telecom ,Chemicals ,Engineering and Infrastructure
