Ride to safety
ICICI Lombard’s ‘Ride to Safety’ programme is aimed to pursue behavioural change among two-wheeler riders by raising nation-wide awareness about the rules on road safety. The programme specifically reaches out to SEC B, C and D families (lower- middle class and economically weaker sections), who were particularly vulnerable to road accidents.

As a part of its CSR initiative, ICICI Lombard launched Caring Hands in 2011. Caring Hands is one of its kind programme as the whole initiative is implemented by ICICI Lombard employees as a part of their employee volunteering activities. The Caring Hands initiative involves setting up eye check-up camps for students at municipal schools.

A total of 13 projects were undertaken across 8 states, benefiting multiple institutions through the installation of critical medical equipment and capacity augmentation.

In FY2026, as part of its commitment to enabling sustainable livelihoods, ICICI Lombard focused on strengthening technical education and vocational training infrastructure to enhance employability through projects implemented by ICICI Foundation across multiple states. A total of 16 programmes were undertaken across 10 states. The programmes were aligned with industry requirements and emerging technologies, covering both urban and rural geographies.

Niranjali
The provision of water in schools is one of the most ‘highly effective practices in increasing access and learning outcomes’. Contaminated drinking water and food and lack of sanitation, etc. are the main causes of diarrhoeal disease, especially among children. Considering the current scenario, ICICI Lombard initiated the ‘Niranjali’ programme, intending to provide safe drinking water facilities on the school premises and spread awareness of the necessity and accessibility of clean drinking water.

Healthy villages
In FY2021, the Company embarked on a new exercise to equip Primary Health Centres in rural areas with medical instruments to cater to the health-related needs of residents, thereby avoiding the need to refer every case to district hospitals. As part of this exercise, the Company ran a pilot initiative in select districts of Madhya Pradesh (MP) and Uttar Pradesh (UP). PHCs were provided with advanced equipment including operation kits, anaesthesia workstations, BP machines, ECG kits etc.
