Whether you're a tourist or a business traveller, being well-informed about the documentation needed will ensure a smooth entry into the country.

Visa Requirements for Panama

Given below are the Panama visa requirements for Indian citizens:

  • Completing the Visa Application Form: To kickstart your journey, start by filling out the visa application form on the website of either the Embassy of Panama or the Panama Consulate in India.
  • Valid Passport: Make sure that your passport remains valid for six months beyond your intended departure date. Remember to submit a photocopy of your passport, including both the front & back of the passport and all blank pages.
  • Valid Identity Card (Aadhaar Card): For Indian citizens travelling to Panama, it is mandatory to present an identity card like an Aadhaar Card as part of their visa application process.
  • Travel Itinerary or Electronic Ticket: Provide evidence of your travel plans by submitting an itinerary or an electronic ticket that displays your intended dates of arrival and departure.
  • Hotel Reservation: If applicable, include confirmation of hotel reservation as the accommodation proof in Panama along with your visa application.
  • Passport Photos: Please include three of the latest passport photos when you submit your visa application.
  • Travel Insurance: It is important to have travel insurance that covers you for the duration of your stay in Panama. This should include coverage for emergencies, trip cancellations, and any unexpected events such as baggage loss or missed flights.
  • Bank Statement: To demonstrate financial stability, provide a bank statement issued by your bank. It should show a balance of $500 to cover your expenses during your time in Panama.
  • Criminal Record: Obtain confirmation from the police authorities in your home country stating that you do not have a criminal record.

If you are under 18, please ensure that either one of your parents or legal guardians submit your visa application on your behalf.

It is crucial to stay updated regarding visa requirements for Panama to ensure a hassle-free travel experience. Additionally, initiate the visa application process well ahead of your planned travel dates to allow time for document collection and visa processing and to thwart potential unforeseen delays.
