There is an appointed RTO for each state and union territory in the country. RTOs are responsible for the intensive foundation of rules set by the Motor Vehicle Act of 1988. The RTO plays an integral part in the vehicle's operation. It keeps a data set of all the vehicles and issues licenses for drivers. It is likewise responsible for gathering tax charges, managing pollution checks, and guaranteeing the authorization of all road transportation rules. Is it Compulsory to Register Your Vehicle with the RTO?

Yes, enlisting your vehicle with the RTO is necessary. The registration certificate or RC is the official record that confirms your vehicle registration with the Indian government. Besides specifying the category of the vehicle, it mentions the territorial boundary where it can be used, engine and chassis number, fuel used, and cubic capacity. A vehicle only qualifies for the Indian roads after getting a legal RC. It is valid for 15 years after issuance and can be renewed for the next five years after the validity tenure expires.

Four-Wheeler Insurance In Dohad

It is vital to have car insurance policy to ensure the well-being of your vehicle. Under the Motor Vehicles Act, government authorities have made it compulsory for vehicle owners to have an insurance contract. Because of the poor roads in India, there are higher possibilities of accidents in the country. Vehicle insurance can help cover maintenance and clinical costs if an accidnet occurs. Moreover, insurance companies also cover the damage caused by natural disasters like floods, storms and others. By paying a limited amount of car insurance installment, you can easily claim a reasonable sum during unforeseen mishaps on the road.
