Hyderabad, Telangana’s capital, is one city that is growing at an almost unbelievable pace. Traffic is humongous, and despite the Hyderabad traffic department’s best efforts, violations are an everyday affair. Hence, to keep up with the pace, a traffic e-challan system has been introduced that helps violators pay their penalties online.

The system of e-challan payment in Hyderabad has made things lighter for both prosecutor and violator, though you can still visit any police station and pay your penalty in cash.

One crucial thing to remember is that most e-challans are issued because vehicle owners in Hyderabad miss out on securing four wheeler insurance in time. Car insurance is very important as it protects your vehicle from various liabilities. Also, remember that e-challans are valid only for 60 days, and if you fail to make the necessary payment within this period, you may have to make rounds of the court.
