Road Tax for Four-Wheelers in Rajasthan

The road tax in Rajasthan for a car depends on several factors, including the engine's cubic capacity, the type of fuel used, and the vehicle's price. This one-time payment is made during car registration.

Here is how car road tax is calculated:

  1. Engine Capacity and Fuel

  • Petrol Cars:

Up to 800 cc: 6% of the cost of the vehicle

800cc to 1200cc: 9% of the cost of the vehicle

Above 1200cc: 10% of the cost of the vehicle

  • Diesel Cars:

Up to 800 cc: 8% of the cost of the vehicle

800cc to 1200cc: 11% of the cost of the vehicle

Above 1200cc: 12% of the cost of the vehicle

  1. Seating Capacity of Vehicle

Road tax rates vary depending on the seating capacity of a car. As the number of seats increases in a car, so do the road tax charges.
