It requires a lot of mindful and conscious efforts, starting with including a diet that is good for the heart. How to Eat Right For Your Heart

Heart health can be best achieved by consuming more fruits and vegetables. Include a selection of colourful fresh and seasonal fruits. Each fruit provides many benefits, such as supplying minerals, vitamins, and antioxidants that keep the heart healthy. 

Increase Water Consumption: Drinking enough water in your body is crucial for a healthy heart diet. It enables your body to absorb nutrients. Drinking 3–4 litres of water every day is recommended.

Watch the Portions: Too much of anything is bad for everyone. So, watching what you eat and how much you eat in one sitting is vital. Control your portion sizes to include various food groups in the correct quantity. 

Consume Less Fried Food: Fried foods are undoubtedly irresistible but do not fall into the food good for heart. As such, it is crucial to be conscious of the amount of fried foods consumed and limit the intake as much as possible. 

Protein: Consuming protein in the right way is highly beneficial. However, not all sources of protein are suitable for the heart. Consume less or no red meats and opt for lean meat sources, including fish, plant-based protein sources, etc. These are more beneficial for the heart and the body.
