Maintaining active third-party liability insurance for your car is a legal mandate. Thus, renewing your insurance on time is crucial to comply with the law. Ignoring this responsibility might lead to significant fines and even legal consequences if you're caught driving uninsured. To safeguard yourself from potential trouble, make it a priority to renew your car insurance a few weeks ahead of its expiration date. Regularly checking your insurance status is the only foolproof method to ensure you're compliant and adequately protected. We will look into the various methods on how to check third-party insurance.

What is third party insurance for car?

The Motors Vehicle Act 1988 states that all vehicle owners must purchase third-party car insurance. This policy provides vehicle owners coverage against any liabilities arising from injuries caused to others or damages to their properties due to an accident involving the insured car. It covers the insured’s responsibility to compensate for bodily injury, death, or property damage caused to others. Third-party car insurance does not cover damages to the owner or the insured vehicle.
