Preventing Syphilis

  1. Initially, when a patient starts developing sores on the genitals, preventive measures of syphilis should be started immediately.
  2. Safe sex should be practiced and condoms and dental dams should be used during sexual intercourse.
  3. Try to find out whether your partner has a history of such infection.
