  • Indian nationals travelling to the Philippines should be aware that there is no process for Indians to obtain a visa on arrival in the Philippines.
  • However, non-occupant Indians may be eligible for the Philippines' visa-free portion provided they possess proof of residence or a work permit from specific countries, such as the US, UK, Australia, Japan, Canada, Schengen Region and Singapore.
  • For eligible NRIs, this exclusion serves as a substitute, allowing them to travel without a visa because of their residency or work permit from these listed countries.
  • Indian travellers visiting the Philippines need a tourist visa for 14 days, with the option to extend it for an additional 7 days. To request an extension, one must indicate a longer stay. Visa categories allow up to 3 and a half years, and for extended stays, apply to New Delhi or approved locations.
