Q: If I have an existing medical condition, can I still purchase insurance? So, there is a customer asking that if there is an existing medical condition, are they covered for that or how does it work?
Ans. Some of the insurance really cover any emergency situation arising out of that existing condition. But, the only prerequisite is that you have to declare that existing condition to your insurer and insurer has to accept that pre-existing condition and issue a policy to you.
There are some insurers who do not cover pre-existing conditions at all. There are some insurers who do cover pre-existing condition at the time of emergency.
