Download the application form:

1. Gather required documents:

   Ensure you have all the necessary documents, and refer to the Portugal Visa Requirements to ensure you have everything in order.

2. Submission of documents:

   Submit the required documents at the nearest Portugal embassy, consulate, or designated Visa Application Center. In the absence of a Portuguese Diplomatic Representation in your country, you may have to apply through the embassy/consulate of another Schengen country.

3. Pay the visa fee:

   Deposit the applicable Portugal visa fee as specified for your visa type.

4. Processing time:

   The visa processing usually takes about two weeks, but may vary based on individual circumstances. Apply well in advance to avoid any disruptions to your travel plans.

5. Collect the visa:

   You will receive a notification to collect your passport with the visa affixed once your application is approved.
