Yezdi has quietly built a solid reputation in the mid-range segment with retro-styled bikes that deliver real performance. And 2026 looks like it could be the brand's most interesting year yet. An updated Scrambler, a long-awaited cruiser in the Roadking, and a street-focused Streetfighter are all in the pipeline. If you are for something with character and genuine road presence, the upcoming Yezdi bikes are worth keeping an eye on.

List of Expected Yezdi Bikes in India

Here is a look at the new upcoming Yezdi bikes expected to arrive in 2026:

Most of these upcoming Yezdi bike models are expected to carry forward the refined 334cc liquid-cooled Alpha 2 engine. The Roadking, however, is a different story. There are reports of a larger engine, possibly 500cc or even 650cc, to take on bikes like the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650.

The big update about the Yezdi Scrambler 2026 is a reported 10 kg weight reduction from the current 182 kg, along with revised suspension for better off-road agility. Yezdi Roadking is a cruiser-styled bike with a dual-pod instrument cluster, expected to rival the Royal Enfield Classic 350.

Yezdi Streetfighter is built on the Scrambler's chassis but tuned for city riding, with aggressive naked styling and a different exhaust setup.

Why Insurance Matters When Buying a New Yezdi Bike

A Yezdi bike launch is exciting. The paperwork that follows, less so. But getting your bike insurance right is not something to push to the back of the list. In India, third party bike insurance is legally mandatory for every bike on the road. It covers damage caused to others in case of an accident. That is the minimum.

For a bike in the Rs. 2 lakh range, though, the minimum might not be enough. Repair costs on a modern liquid-cooled motorcycle can add up quickly, especially after an accident, a flood, or a theft. A comprehensive two wheeler insurance policy covers your own bike too. It also gives you access to network garages where repairs are handled directly with the insurer, so you are not chasing reimbursements while your bike sits in a workshop.

FAQs

1. How does the Yezdi Scrambler 2026 differ from the current model?

The key change is a reported 10 kg weight reduction, which brings it down from 182 kg. This is aimed at improving off-road handling and agility. Revised suspension and component updates are also expected alongside the weight saving.

2. What engine will the Yezdi Roadking use?

Reports point to the same 334cc liquid-cooled Alpha 2 engine used across the Yezdi range. However, there are unconfirmed reports of a larger 500cc or 650cc variant to compete with the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650. Nothing has been officially confirmed yet.

3. Are Yezdi bikes good for first-timers in India?

Yezdi bikes are well-suited for beginners. However, their weight and power might need some riding confidence.
