  • Sensor activation

Sensors in the car constantly monitor the driver’s foot speed and brake pressure. They recognise an emergency situation as soon as they sense a sudden increase in speed or pressure.

 

  • Sync with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)

The brake assist system operates in tandem with the ABS. The ABS ensures that the vehicle maintains control even when the brakes are applied and the wheels are not in motion. In this manner, both systems work together to help bring the vehicle to a faster and safer stop.

 

  • Brake boosting

As soon as the system senses an emergency, additional energy is added to the braking system. This means that maximum braking force is delivered to bring the vehicle to a quick stop, whether or not the driver applies enough pressure.
