Applying for a Learning Licence

  • The process begins by visiting the Sarathi Parivahan website, the designated platform for driver's licence applications in West Bengal.
  • On the website, choose West Bengal as your state of residence.
  • Proceed to the "Apply for learner's Licence" section to start the application procedure.
  • Subsequently, you must sign up on the portal if you haven't already done so. Upon registration completion, fill out the driver's licence application form.
  • Ensure you have all documents, such as proof of identity, address and age, in hand. You might need to provide documents, like your Aadhar card, passport or other official IDs issued by the government. Upload all the documents on the portal following the given instructions.
  • Check all the details you've entered to prevent any mistakes or delays in processing your application.
  • Once you've completed the form and uploaded your documents, you can schedule a Learner's Licence test if required.
  • On the scheduled day, go to the Regional Transport Office (RTO) for the test. You will get your learner's licence if you pass.
