Step 1:

Visit the Parivahan portal, the platform for accessing Driver’s Licence services.

Step 2:

Access the 'DL Services' section by selecting 'Online Services'.

Step 3:

Choose Maharashtra from the state menu. Click on 'Apply for Learner’s Licence'.

Step 4:

Complete your learner’s licence application by following the instructions and filling out the application form accurately. Ensure you have all required documents, such as proof of identity, address and age, which may include your Aadhar card, passport or other government-issued IDs.

Step 5:

Schedule a time for your test.

Step 6:

Show up at the Regional Transport Office (RTO) on the scheduled date for your test. Get your learner's licence once you pass.

Step 7:

Go back to the Parivahan website. Click on 'Apply for DL' in the Driving Licence services section.

Step 8:

Select 'Applicant holds DL'. Follow the steps to apply for your driving licence.

Step 9:

Go to the 'Appointments' part in the DL Services menu, book a driving test slot and

make sure it's a month after getting your learner's licence.

Step 10:

Pay the driving licence fees. Save or print the receipt for future reference.

Step 11:

Attend your driving test on the set date, where an RTO official will evaluate your driving abilities.

Step 12:

After passing the test, your biometric information will be taken by RTO.
