Step 7: Enter your driver’s licence number and date of birth.

Step 8: Enter the provided Captcha code and click ‘Proceed’ to move on to the next screen.

Step 9: Now, you can apply for a DL smart card.

Step 11: Get a receipt after paying the necessary amount via a payment gateway.

After a successful payment, the Chennai RTO will begin the document verification before issuing your new or renewed driver’s licence.
