Road tax levied on vehicles plying in Punjab but not registered in the state varies as per category. Transport vehicles with a seating capacity of up to 10 passengers have to pay INR 200 as the border fee while the amount is INR 1,500 for all other non-Punjab vehicles, excluding three-wheelers.
