₹1,00,000 or less---------------------8%
Between ₹1,00,000 to ₹8,00,000------------------9%
Between ₹8,00,000 and ₹15,00,000----------------------10%
Above ₹15,00,000-------------------------12%
For example, if you buy a ₹ 80,000 motorcycle, you would pay 8% of the ex-showroom price, which is ₹ 6,400. If the motorcycle costs ₹ 1,50,000, you pay a 9% charge, which is ₹ 13,500 as road tax.
