How to Apply for a Two-Wheeler Driving Licence?

In India, you may apply for motorcycle license through both online and offline methods via the RTO (Regional Transport Office). Applying offline entails visiting the nearest RTO, obtaining a license application form, and completing it.

  • Use Form 1 if you are applying for a learner’s license.
  • Use Form 4 if you are applying for a permanent license.
  • If you are filling out the forms online, you can download them from your respective state’s official transport department website.
  • Along with completing the form, you will also need to submit a few documents such as address proof, and age proof.
  • Once you have filled out the form, you will be assigned a time slot for a driving test. You must pass this test to obtain your driving license, which will then be sent to your registered address.
