  • In 1954, the company changed its name to Suzuki Motor Co.

  • 1970s: In 1971, the TM400, a production motocross bike, was released to compete in 500cc-class motocross races.
  • 1980s: The GSX-1100S Katana was unveiled in 1981. It was an outstanding model that greatly impacted the industry's design.
  • 1990s: In 1999, Suzuki introduced the GSX-1300R Hayabusa, which features an aerodynamic design. This model helped Suzuki bike products establish a strong name in the industry.
