4. Bhaktapur Durbar Square

Located in Bhaktapur, this square was once the royal seat of the Bhaktapur kingdom. It is known for historic buildings like the 55-Window Palace and Nyatapola Temple. The site reflects medieval architecture and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

5. Kathmandu Durbar Square

Kathmandu Durbar Square lies in the old city area of Kathmandu and was the royal palace of the Malla and Shah kings. The square is filled with temples, statues and courtyards, including the Taleju Temple and the residence of the living goddess Kumari. It showcases traditional Newar art and is part of the UNESCO World Heritage list.
