1
Visit the official e-visa portal
Begin by going to the official e-visa website of Georgia. This is the only authentic platform where you can apply online. Hence, double-check the web address before entering your details. Using the official portal ensures that your information is secure and your application is sent directly to the Georgian authorities.
2
Fill in application form
Once you’re on the portal, you’ll find an application form that requests your personal details, including your full name, nationality, passport number and travel dates, among others. Take your time while filling this out and avoid rushing, as even a small mistake can delay your application.
3
Upload the documents
After the form is complete, you’ll need to upload supporting documents. Typically, these include a scanned copy of your valid passport, passport-sized photographs and travel-related documents such as hotel bookings, flight tickets, etc.
4
Pay the visa fees
Next, pay the visa fees. The fee amount depends on the type of visa you are applying for. Once the payment is made, you’ll get a confirmation receipt. It’s a good idea to save or print a copy for your records.
5
Submit your application
Review your details one last time and click ‘Submit.’ This will officially send your application to the Georgian authorities for review. Immediately after submission, you should receive an acknowledgment or reference number.
