CoWIN registration with a passport

If you are working overseas and are currently in India, or if you need to fly to another country for urgent business, having appropriate documentation that proofs your vaccination is mandatory. To comply with international travel guidelines, while booking a slot on the CoWIN portal for a jab, use your passport as identity proof.

Add passport details:

Following your submission request, you will receive a text message confirming that your passport information has been updated successfully. After you submit your request, it may take a few minutes for you to receive an SMS notification.

Step 7

Once you have completed all the formalities, you can now easily download your passport-linked vaccination certificate. To download the certificate, go to the 'Account Details' section and click on the 'Certificate' icon; your certificate will begin downloading when you click on this icon.
